The 991 GT3 RS (2015-2017 for the 991.1, 2018-2019 for the 991.2) is Porsche's track-focused 911, built by the Motorsport department around a naturally aspirated flat-six and PDK-only gearbox. The 991.1 used a 4.0L 500 PS engine and the 991.2 raised output to 520 PS with a lighter, more refined chassis. It is widely regarded as one of the last great naturally aspirated, high-revving road-legal Porsches.
A motorsport-derived 9,000 rpm flat-six, rear-axle steering, aggressive aero and a Nürburgring-honed chassis give it a rawness few modern cars match. Limited production and its status as a pinnacle of the naturally aspirated GT era make it a defining car of its generation.
