Nature of the service
Targa is an information platform that aggregates public auction data and market intelligence to produce proprietary analyses (appreciation scores, BUY/WATCH/AVOID classifications, buying guides). The service is informational and educational in nature. It does not constitute investment advice, personalised recommendations, or solicitation to buy or sell. Collector cars are physical assets and are not regulated financial instruments under the Italian Consolidated Financial Act (TUF). Targa is not registered with any financial advisor registry and does not carry out reserved activities.
Registration
Access to certain features requires registration via Clerk. The user warrants that the information provided is truthful and complete, and must be at least 18 years of age. Each user may hold only one account.
Free and Pro plans
The Platform offers a Free plan (free, with limited features) and a Pro plan (paid, with full access). Pro prices: €19.99/month or €179/year (equivalent to €14.92/month). The billing cycle (monthly or annual) is chosen at subscription and automatically renews at the end of each period unless cancelled. During the private beta, all registered users receive temporary Pro access at no cost.
Right of withdrawal (cooling-off)
For consumers, art. 52 of the Italian Consumer Code provides the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of activation without any obligation to state reasons. To exercise this right, send a request to info@usetarga.app. At the time of subscription to the Pro plan, the user may choose to access the service immediately, expressly accepting the loss of the right of withdrawal once the service has begun being used (art. 59(1)(o) Consumer Code).
Cancellation and refunds
The user may cancel the subscription at any time from the Account area or by contacting info@usetarga.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, during which access to the Pro features is maintained. No refunds are due for periods already used, except where required by mandatory law.
Intellectual property
All content on the Platform (texts, graphics, software, logos, AI-generated guides) is protected by intellectual property law and belongs to Targa or its licensors. Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for personal non-commercial purposes. Scraping, automated extraction, or resale of the content are prohibited.
Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. Targa makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the data for investment purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Targa shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the data, including lost profits or missed investment opportunities. The user acknowledges that every purchase decision remains the user's sole responsibility.
Suspension and termination
Targa reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account in the event of material breach of these Terms, illegal conduct, or abuse of the Platform. In such cases no refund is due.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the competent court is the court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer, where located in the Italian territory. For disputes with professional users, the exclusive competent court is determined at the time of the publication of the definitive version of these Terms.
Changes
Targa reserves the right to modify these Terms for regulatory, technical, or business reasons. Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 30 days' notice, during which the user may cancel the subscription.
