The Aventador SV (Superveloce), introduced in 2015 as the LP 750-4 SV, is a lightened, more powerful evolution of the Aventador with a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 750 hp, a carbon-fibre monocoque, and a single-clutch ISR gearbox. It cut around 50 kg from the standard car and added extensive aero and revised suspension. Production was limited to 600 coupes and 500 roadsters, and it marks one of the final chapters of high-revving, naturally aspirated V12 supercars.
The SV is the rawest and most aggressive Aventador, with a savage V12, a violent ISR gearbox and a Nürburgring lap record for production cars at its launch. Its limited production, dramatic aero and status as a late-era naturally aspirated flagship give it lasting cultural and collector significance.
