Introduced in 1966 and built until 1968, the 275 GTB/4 was the first road-going Ferrari with a four-cam (quad-overhead-camshaft) V12, here a 3.3-liter Colombo unit with six Weber carburetors and dry-sump lubrication. It combined a Pininfarina-styled Scaglietti-built body with a rear-mounted transaxle and independent rear suspension, producing around 300 hp. Only about 330 were built, making it one of the most coveted front-engined V12 Ferraris.
It marks the moment Ferrari's front-engined V12 road car reached full maturity, pairing racing-derived engineering with one of Pininfarina's most elegant shapes. Low production, a short and refined run, and its status as the immediate predecessor to the Daytona make it a cornerstone of any serious Ferrari collection.
